Cantina Laredo-Grapevine Texas
Chile Relleno form Cantina Laredo in Grapevine Texas.  I had the Poblano pepper with a nicely seasoned Picadillo filling of beef, almonds and raisins.($14.29).  Excellent.  The pepper was stuffed "Texas Style".  The battered outside was just right.  It was thin and did not overwhelm the Relleno.  The almonds and raisins added an interesting hint of sweetness.   Cantina Laredo also offers a mild green salsa that is very unique and is great with chips or as a sauce for your entree. I will most definately order this dish again.  I give it a rating of 3.5 Stars

My Rating Scale:
1 Star-Feed it to the dog
2 Stars- Edible but probably won't order it again
3 Stars-One Good Chili Relleno
4 Stars- One Great Chili Relleno
5 Stars- One of the Best Chili Rellenos in Texas

Texas Best Chili Rellenos

Here is the first entry in my search for the "Best Chili Relleno in Texas"
This is a nice ground beef chili relleno ordered from the ala cart menu at El Tiempo on Montrose St. in Houston Texas. ($8.99) The chili is filled with a very tasty combination of finely ground beef, onion, potato, delicious seasoning then deep fried.  The outer crust was a little thicker than I liked but did not ruin the juicy chili and stuffing inside.I enjoyed it and would order it again.  I give it 3 out of 5 Stars.
